Madonna rang in her 66th birthday surrounded by family and celebrities alike in Italy, at the renowned Villa TreVille resort in Positano. The resort, previously visited by Jennifer Lopez, offers luxury accommodations with rooms reaching $2,000 a night.
It was once the summer home of filmmaker Franco Zeffirelli and is now managed by Martino Acampora under owner Govind Friedland. Michele Cinque of Positano News praised it as “one of the most luxurious facilities in the world, but at the same time very quiet and private.”
Celebrating on August 16, Madonna, her twin daughters Estere and Stella, aged 11, and her possible beau, footballer Akeem Morris, immersed themselves in the Italian Ferragosto festivities. They enjoyed fireworks from Montepertuso’s La Tagliata restaurant overlooking the Amalfi Coast.
An intimate dinner at the Archaeological Park of Pompeii’s ancient theatre catered by Quattro Passi, a three-Michelin-star establishment, featured Mediterranean cuisine designed to match Madonna’s tastes. According to insiders, the dinner emphasized simple, coastal dishes using locally sourced produce.
The chefs, Antonio and Fabrizio Mellino of Quattro Passi, prepared dishes such as mini penne with zucchini, bruschetta, white grouper, and red seabream alongside traditional Campania desserts like baba cakes and tagliatelle.
“The Dream of Flying project, so generously supported by Madonna, is strategic for Pompei because it addresses the people living in this wonderful and complex territory, particularly the young, and makes them protagonists of an experience through which we wanted to demonstrate that art and culture truly can change our lives,” stated Gabriel Zuchtriegel, the park’s director.
Madonna also funded the local youth project, Sogno di Volare (Dream of Flying), providing entertainment for the evening. Reflecting on her birthday, Madonna shared moments on Instagram, expressing, “Back in Italy…🇮🇹 Happy Birthday to ME 🦁✨🎂🥂🇮🇹♥️” alongside images from her celebration, featuring her with Morris.
